A few publications are reporting that Tony Romo has dumped Jessica Simpson, but lawyers for Jessica have come calling the claims false and libelous.

Jessica was seen in West Hollywood dressed in a bulky sweater and wearing big hoop gold earrings.

PEOPLE recently spoke to Eva Longoria about the situation with Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo - the blame Dallas Cowboy fans have placed on Jessica for Tony having had one of his worst games ever back in December when Jessica attended the game to show her support.

Pointing out the similarity between Jessica’s present situation and Eva’s [ they both cheer a guy named "Tony" who wears a number 9 for a Texas team, people points out ] PEOPLE got Eva Longoria’s take on the whole affair. And here’s what Eva had to say:

“When I first started dating Tony (Parker), I got the same flack, and this was so many years ago that people don’t remember. If he had a bad game, it was my fault, if he got injured, it was my fault, if he had a good game, it wasn’t because of me.”

Asked what advice she would give Jessica Eva is quoted as saying:

“You have to weather that for a while, and once people get over it, they kind of get used to you.”

Jessica was in Mexico with Tony Romo this week according to reports. Her latest sighting was at the airport getting ready to board a private jet to fly back to the US.

Jessica Simpson is said to be recording a country album in Nashville that she plans to release this year with Columbia Records.

Jessica says she’s always wanted to make a country album but was waiting for the right time. She’s being quoted as saying that she thinks there is a strength in female country artists land lists Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and Reba McEntire as some of her inspirations.
