According to reports, “Blonde Ambition”, Jessica Simpson’s last film which flopped in the US making just over $1,000 at the box office during its opening weekend in December, is a huge success in the Ukraine.

Film producer Alex Shpiluk, a member of the Ukrainian Film Commission, is said to have told In Touch magazine:

“She is really the ideal of American beauty and style, like Barbie. She would be useful to us and our image.”

According to reports Jessica Simpson is being considered for the role of Sandy in a possible remake of Grease, and Michelle Pfeiffer has indicated interest in hopping onboard to play the role of Principle McGee especially if Jessica Simpson is hired to play Sandy.

Michele is being quoted as saying:

“It’s a great idea [the Grease remake], and I hear they would like to get Jessica Simpson for the role of Sandy. She would be good.”

Jessica Simpson’s film “Blonde Ambition” was apparently headed for a straight-to-DVD release, but the studio decided to test it out by giving it a limited run in theaters. The result?  The film aparently earned $1,322 in its opening weekend, an average of $165 per theater. That’s got to be an error….
