Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo put on a performance to prove they are still happy together. The couple performed a duet at tribute group Metal Skool’s weekly showcase in Hollywood on Monday night with a rocking duet.

They sang Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” backed by the band at the Key Club.

Tony at first didn’t want to participate but after fans started chanting his name he gave in and joined Jessica on stage.

PEOPLE recently spoke to Eva Longoria about the situation with Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo - the blame Dallas Cowboy fans have placed on Jessica for Tony having had one of his worst games ever back in December when Jessica attended the game to show her support.

Pointing out the similarity between Jessica’s present situation and Eva’s [ they both cheer a guy named "Tony" who wears a number 9 for a Texas team, people points out ] PEOPLE got Eva Longoria’s take on the whole affair. And here’s what Eva had to say:

“When I first started dating Tony (Parker), I got the same flack, and this was so many years ago that people don’t remember. If he had a bad game, it was my fault, if he got injured, it was my fault, if he had a good game, it wasn’t because of me.”

Asked what advice she would give Jessica Eva is quoted as saying:

“You have to weather that for a while, and once people get over it, they kind of get used to you.”
